ALICORNS[]
Description[]
Alicorns are the most powerful pony type, and carry the abilities of earth, air, and magic. An alicorn is often created, and not born. Flurry Heart is a rare case because of Candace's genes.
Alicorns are usually more powerful at their birth abilities, but can hone and master the rest of their abilities to the same extent.
Cutie marks[]
Alicorns have a basic cutiemark when they're first tiered up. Because they have an extended lifespan, alicorns have what we call mark tiers.
Tier one is the most common of all cutie marks; it’s just your average joe of a cutie mark; special, a unique starting point.
Tier two is when an alicorn refines their cutie mark into what the purpose is supposed to be.
Tier three, which is the final tier, is when the cutie mark is at its most powerful state.
History[]
Alicorns start out as normal, everyday ponies, and earn their status when they do something profound (raising the moon/sun, learning about friendship, or love)
No one knows who the first alicorn was, but they were around before documented times.
Unicorn[]
Description[]
Unicorns are more in tune with the magic of the world, being able to wield it as power.
Unicorns have a long tail with a tuft of hair at the ends, cloven hooves, and feathers on their fetlocks.
History[]
Unicorns originally came from Fœnum. They have since evolved into what they are now.
Pegasus[]
Description[]
Pegasus ponies are winged ponies, and they can control weather.
They have flight feathers in on their fetlocks and on their rears, making them more aerodynamic.
Earth[]
Description[]
Earth ponies are in tune with natural magic. They're known to be strong and good with nature. The oldest pony type, ancient and revered.
Extra Ponies[]
Bat: formally considered to be a myth, but they are real. Extremely rare, but happens a lot in farmers. Can be artificially created
Nightmare: Like Princess Luna’s guards of the night thing. Unlike true bat ponies, they have a bat membrane for their manes and tails and slitted pupils. Less primitive of the bat ponies, but definitely a species of them
Crystal: formally shadow ponies, they are created when a shadow pony enters intense magical pressure, transforming into a pony made of sparkles
Shadow (umbrum): formally made of hate, having them enter a pressured state turns them into crystal ponies
Sea: originally an extinct species, but they made a comeback.
Mer: only living relative of the sea ponies. Can turn into hippogriffs
Flutter: heck if i know dog. Probably extinct but also not. Mythical lads.

I have no idea, they saw reindeers and adopted some pets Description MAGIC Maybe i shouldve wrote down what i had first…. All i know is that there is a difference between equestrian magic and foenum magic
History[]
Foenum is the base of all magic, and Equestrian magic just branched from that. Foenum has natural magic wells that Equestria lacks, but Equestrian creatures are made of magic, whereas Foenum’s creatures are all natural.
In Equestria, magic makes up nature, and all creatures have magic in them. Every creature is made of magic, which is why draining them of magic makes them weak, and magic can empower them. Nature is just part of magic in Equestria, which is why plants and organic things can be grown easily with magic, and why monsters are really just magically enchanted animals. Equestria still has magical artifacts, because some ponies cannot use their magic like new Unicorns. These can be used by Earth ponies and Pegasi. Because these animals are made of magic too, though, they can also be turned into magic. I don’t know how but hey, they can!
In Foenum, however, all the creatures lack magic. Magic cannot affect them aside from effects, like an attack made with magic. Pure concentrated magic can hurt creatures not made of magic, and can give them magic radiation. It sounds bad but actually it means that the critter with magic radiation can store a little magic in them. All Foenum unicorns have some form of magic radiation, which allows them to use magic easier but they are also prone to turning into magic. A creature made natural who is suffering from magic radiation can like, disappear into magic. That’s why in Foenum, magic is stored in artifacts! It still causes magic radiation, but it’s safely stored in an artifact rather than a living vessel. This can be good for Foenum creatures though, like the old Unicorns and old Sheep; because they can’t be affected by Tirek’s eating magic thing, and if they are, it’s just excess magic radiation and Tirek can technically cure them.
Dark magic is found both in Foenum and Equestria, though with obvious differences (read above you goon!!!). Dark magic was used to channel dark energy (like evil or something, negative emotions) and form something powerful. It’s often considered bad because it’s used for bad things because it’s powerful. But it all just depends on the user. Dark magic is used by channeling bad energy into powerful energy, which I just said but I’m reiterating. Often times though, because of that, it leaves the user feeling refreshed of all bad feelings, and is a good way to vent. It’s powerful because emotions are strong, which is mostly how to use them. But bad thoughts can also empower them too, which is why it’s called dark magic I guess. Also being a wielder in dark magic gives you a really good villain laugh. Oooh maybe a way dark magic was used was by fear. That’s pretty cool; the more you are afraid the more powerful your magic can be. Maybe it’s powered by negative emotions to lessen them (which can be good or bad, depending on how you look at it. If it drains you of jealousy, that’s good! But if it drains you of something “negative” that is important like sadness, that might also be bad) and regular magic is stronger with positive emotions to empower them (like if you’re happy and you use magic, you might get even more happier. Which can cause problems too)?
There’s gonna be magic related disease, I just haven’t thought of them yet.
Also, a unicorn born with two horns has almost enough power as an Alicorn, and they are prone to having trouble controlling their magic.
Oh yeah magic is stored in things. Artifacts.
